Roman-Pictures (Signals Sequel)

This past weekend I worked with a very close personal friend on his project "Signals (2)". We have already begun working on several other scenes but I must admit, this one feels far more insync than the first episode. Meaning, we have a new breed of actors with great talent and the eagerness/hunger to make this project equally a success.

To the Roman-Pictures crew, cast and family...great job this past weekend! We all added that extra step to ensure that character development stayed true and that the director, Carlos Roman, was pleased. I would like to give a special thanks to the make-up team onset Saturday (06/27/09). No matter the climate or volume of actors/extras that flooded your seats, you two gave a stellar performance and your work reflected true professionalism.

This project will be a great success and it's all based on the efforts and positive energy from the cast/crew. Keep doing a great job!

Browncoats Redemption...

The Browncoats Redemption journey is almost over and I must admit that I am truly upset about reaching the "wrap date". Since I have been filming with Big Damn Films, I have made over a hundred fans, tons of friends that will be in my life forever and recieved the guidance I needed to write a script worthy enough for the director of Redemption to possibly present it to Joss Whedon. To add to my journey, the director of Redemption wants to direct my screenplay! How cool is that people, I mean really?

I've also learned a great deal about production, directing and set design as with the more intricate side of budgeting and location analysis. And lastly...as far as learning goes, how to really see who will be supportive of you and who wont. Their loss...trust me (lol).

So although the "wrap date" is nearing an end, I can truly say that I am and always will be a "Browncoat" from this day forward. To my friends with Big Damn Films and to my fellow Browncoats, God Bless you all and thank you for your support, love and loyalty.

You guys rock!
